Aloha, I have the model above where the ice maker is overfilling and will not stop. I ordered a new water valve and installed it. No change the water still runs out and will not stop with the icemaker on. The ice maker does not have a test button nor does it have the to inlets to jump start it. The ice maker is also out of manufacturing. Do you think it is the ice maker or a control board issue? Thank you, Steve

French door style fridge with freezer draw at bottom. fridge does not hold temperature (set for 32 but reads ~50F with separate thermometer). Initially, display at top (where doors close) displayed a “power outage” warning but there was no other indication that the house or that circuit had lost power at anytime. made several attempts to turn power off to fridge (at the breaker) with hope it would reset. fridge makes several different types of audible chimes, sometimes with two distinctly different chines going off at the same time. I have not been able to find anything on the internet to help put this specific model into diagnostic mode, nor do i have the cheat sheet to know what those codes mean but suspect switches at the ice dispenser console (exterior of left door) can get me into diagnostic mode. Also, i will occasionally hear a mechanical whine (very low) which could be compressor related. everything else about the failure and various chimes (one could be a high temp warning) suggests possible bad control board or power supply tripping an issue? Bottomline, would like to diagnose the problem, understand what part(s) are required to fix it and get repair instructions to swap out that part.

Whirlpool fridge randomly displays two negative signs. One negative sign on the FZ display and one negative sign on the FF display. When this happens the refrigerator stops cooling both compartments. User Interface buttons need to be press and that makes the refrigerator work again. Once the refrigerator is working normally it takes a couple of days for the negative signs to pop up again.

This client of ours is re-reporting their side-by-side refrigerator refrigerator keeps going into overheat and displays that on the front display. Resident and unplugged it and turns it back on and it’s working properly. This continues to happen more and more for our resident. Is there a part that I need to replace to prevent this, every time I go there, the refrigerator is working properly.

Customer complaint before arrival is washer will not spin the clothes out at the end of the cycle. Homeowner did advise that it will only work on bulky cycle technician arrived. Had an F5 E2 code door lock assembly error. We replace that unit is still not spinning out on any other cycle, except for bulky, when we came back out, we went to retrieve the error codes and there was none in there ran a cycle on normal and it does not spin out the clothes. You can turn it to drain and spin and it will spin out the clothes properly also, the drain is working properly too , not quite sure where to go with this any help would be appreciated Please email me if you need more information or need anything. Thank you, Daniel Woods.

washer is not draining, but I just replaced the pump 2 yrs ago, the pump seems to have proper resistance, touching it through the filter hole.
I recall the flapper can be a problem , it’s a rubber check valve . Is it possible a hot steam cycle made is flexible enough to push through and cause problems with all cycles? it started on steam cycle, now all cycles won’t drain. I thought i would ask you guys before I go to the trouble on this .

also I know your 29.00 only co=vers one appliance , but I just need a recommendation, matching dryer dv448gp/xaa is a bit noisy, do you guys recommend replacing the springs and wheels around the drum, or should I wait till some happens?

It had the compressor replaced about 3 years ago, I can fill it running but my gauges won’t work I guess it is because it is a flamable refrigerant. the condensor and evaporator fans are running. I replaced the thermister on the compressor but it didn’t help Idon’t know how to test the other components. It has a small computer on the top but I couldn’t find a way to test the other components.

My technician changed two infinite switches on a radiant cooktop.

The part that was changed is 700855K. Issue is that the two right side burners, after connection, control each other’s heat level. Burners turn on independently and the issue with heat control is only applicable if both burners are operating simultaneously.

Could you provide guidance on proper wiring instructions for these switches? My thought is that the technician did the wiring incorrectly. The old switch for reference is part# 203147. The confusion lies in a difference for terminal markings between the old switch (203147) and new switch (700855K).

I’m the owner, but not a technician. Please let me know if there is a bulletin or supporting document for the issue.

Thank you,
Greg Bahry

I have a 10 Year old Speed Queen dryer. I watched your video for replacing the timer a D517560 but my dryer does not have the connectors it just has the separate wires with the little clips on the end. Where do the 2 black wires from – it looks like the timer go. One goes to the T connector but I need to know where the other one terminates.
