The flame will ignite sometime for 3 sec. Or less or sometimes for longer. But when the flame is not on it had a very strong smell of gas. Inside the drum.
I disconnected exhaust fan so I know that’s not the issue.
However sometimes the flame goes on and it does not smell like gas.
Most of the time the flame goes on for 3 seconds then goes off and has a terrible smell of gas

Without disassembling the over the range microwave. When it operates but will not cook is there a way to determine if its the transformer or even capacitor and Not the magnetron and diode that need to be replaced that you guys state in your repair videos for microwave not heating???

hi, my dryer was working fine up until i moved it in my new home. it blows cold air. i was wondering if it’s because it’s not getting enough electricity maybe, because i have a 3 prong but only two are actually plugged in (tried to make it fit in a four prong socket.

I need a service manual for this model. Is the problem in the board?

I’m trying to connect a 3 prong cable to a maytag bravo. Both the green and white wires terminate at middle terminal. The ground wire seems to come from internal harness. Do I still need a jumper ground wire?

CHANGED OUT A BAD ICE FAN ASSEMBLY, AND MELTED ICE THAT WAS ON THE LEFT TOP OF EVAPORATOR COILS. WENT BACK OUT TODAY, AND THE ICE WAS BACK AND ALSO THE WATER IN DOOR DIDN’T WORK. I THAWED THE ICE AND AFTER I DID THE WATER IN THE DOOR WORKED, SO I GUESSING THE WATER TUBE IN DOOR WAS FROZEN AS WELL. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS CONSTANT ICE BUILD UP ON TOP LEFT OF THE COILS?

The control board is receiving power.
I thought maybe it’s a bad control board and it’s not powering the touch panel to start the unit so I replace the control board and I still have the same issue.
I’m not getting power to the touch panel to start the unit.
Door switch is also not getting any power.

Our Maytag washing machine has a leak. We have changed the hot and cold water hoses and that did not fix the problem. What should we look for next?

GE Model JVM 1540SP1SS, low power microwaves when door closes, hum/buzz heard. fan nor turntable operates, tap water in glass mildly warmer after counting 30 seconds with door closed, but no time on panel. Open door, press “Add 30 Seconds”, place new glass of tap water in microwave, close door and press ‘Start’. Fan and turntable operate. Hum/buzz not noticeably louder with fan and t-table operating. After 30 seconds, timer sounds, fan turntable stop, but hum/buzz continue. Open door immediately and tap water notably warmer.

I have Microwave model HMV8051U/01. It’s worked fine until recently. Now it doesn’t microwave. Display and interior and exterior lights are working. I have tried the lock / unlock routine several times but no good still. What do the display icons mean? There is not a picture in the manual. When I push 1 minute cooking it sounds like it is working but food doesn’t get warm or hot. There is an icon that looks like a rainbow that comes on.
Thanks

GE microwave oven is malfunctioning. With door closed and nothing set, it hums and the magnetron is definitely putting out. Turntable doesn’t turn and interior light doesn’t come on unless I set the timer, in which case the light comes on and the turntable turns. But, when time to stop, it beeps as normal at the end of the cycle and the turntable stops and the interior light goes out but the magnetron is still on and it is still humming.
Nothing will stop it except leaving the door ajar (and the light come on with the door open) or unplugging the unit. The clock works and I can (supposedly) set the power level and the timer for timed cooking, but as I said, when time to stop, the magnetron keeps running. I tried leaving it unplugged for a half hour hoping that would reset it, but it did not.
Edited to add: Everything on the touchpad seems to work correctly, but the magnetron will not turn off unless we leave the door open or unplug the unit.

Hello
Have a problem with my Whirlpool washer Model LSR8433KQ0.
The agitator works and fresh water will come into the tube,
but when the timer moves to any “Rinse” position the dirty
water does not pump out and the spin cycle doesn’t happen.
There is a humming noise when the timer goes over the “Rinse”
position but nothing happens.
Removed the pump, motor, and checked the motor coupling.
Outside the unit the motor shaft turns easily and turns the pump shaft.
I can turn the rubber/plastic coupling still inside the machine with my hand
and it turns the agitator OK.
Your expertise for a repair solution is very much appreciated!
Regards
Bruce

Maytag top load washer makes a constant loud noise when washing or rinsing. It does not make the noise when spinning however when spinning it starts and stops jerking back to spin and never goes into the fast final spin that gets all the water out of the clothes. It does not leave water in the tub however.

iI have a LG Tromm washer, it will tumble in both directions but when its time to spin it doesn’t move and makes a racheting noise.
Help ?
Everything is soaked because it won’t spin to drain any water.
could it be the drain pump ?
wouldn’t it need to start draining before the spinning would start ?

We have a Whirlpool Cabrio Model WTW6800WL1 (bought in 2009). Sounds like it is taking off during spin cycles. Seems to be working but so loud can’t hear phone, TV or wash at night when we are in bed it is so loud. Repair man said he was an expert and our home maintenance insurance won’t fix a “noise” issue, even though the repair man said it was something to do with bearings.

What is the possible cause if the washer will not spin in the spin mode? There is a racheting sound but it won’t spin.

Our Whirlpool model WFW9150WW00 washer cannot complete the cycle. The washer cannot – at least to me – achieve a balanced load so it can spin the clothes prior to ending the cycle. ANy suggestions?

This unit pops the breaker if the oven and more than one burner is going. I checked the current at the breaker with the oven and two burners and it is 39 amps. The breaker is 40 amps. The installation sheet says to use a 40 amp service.
What’s up with this?
