Hello
If the ice make is not making ice and water will not dispense. If you also do not have ice in the ice bin I would start with the water supply to the unit.If you do not have water to the inlet water solenoid you will not make ice or dispense water. This is most commonly cased by the saddle valve that connects to the main water line. See saddle valve replacement video link below. If you are getting water up to the water inlet valve then go to page #30 in the service manual link. This will take you step by step through the ice maker diagnostics.

i have water at water valve. when i put 120v on each valve, water flowed through both valves. still no ice and no dispensing

Make sure the Lock function is not set in the ON position. Go to page #33 section 8-1-3 to make sure the dispenser is not locked. To release the locked state, press and hold the lock button for 3- seconds. Then go to 8-1-4 to make sure your filter cartridge is not plugged. Then you will need to go to page #30 in the service manual and run the ice maker through the diagnostic test mode. Are you getting 0 degrees in the freezer and +37 degrees in the refrigerator ? Lock function (dispenser and display button lock)
