THIS IS A GE WASHER STACK WITH THE DRYER
The washer will only fill and drain.
I tried to enter the service mode according to the tech sheet and it would not allow me. Seemed simple enough. I set the selector dial at 1 o’clock held the start and deep rinse ( is that button the FS the tech sheet is talking about?)
Then hold them for 3 seconds, then turn the dial to position 6 while holding the start and deep rinse 3 more seconds then release and NOTHING!
Am I doing something wrong?
Any suggestions
I’d like to see a service video on this one!!!

Service diagnostic mode. Also see service manual link.
1) TO ENTER TO SERVICE MODE, ROTATE CYCLE SELECTOR TO ANY POSITION EXCEPT POSITION 6.
PRESS START BUTTON AND FS BUTTON AT SAME TIME, WAIT 3 SECONDS, THEN ROTATE CYCLE SELECTOR TO POSITION 6, WAIT 3 SECONDS AND RELEASE BOTH BUTTONS AND ALL LEDS WILL BLINK.
2) ROTATE KNOB CLOCKWISE TO VARIOUS POSITIONS PER SERVICE FUNCTION TABLE TO PERFORM FUNTIONAL CHECKS.

I did this as written and could not get it to enter the service mode. WHY won’t it work?? That is my question When I power up the washer it comes on and will fill but not wash. It will drain but not spin. That’s why I need to enter the service mode. I ALREADY have this tech sheet. It is not helpful in this situation. Have you faced this problem before? What can I do?
