The washer works in any mode, until spin cycle. It will agitate, but stops every time when it gets to spin cycle. The washer was locked, stopped, and would not turn on again. What is causing this?
The homeowner unplugged it and reset it but it would not unlock and run again. Technician thought it was the optical eye, but this washer does not have one. They took the clothes out of the washer and it still stopped on spin cycle.

Hi. What happens when it gets to the spin cycle? IS the drain pump running? Does the basket move at all? Time count down? If the unit can not drain the water out it will cause a no spin. You should be getting error codes from whatever is happening. Get into the diagnostic mode to check your error codes and run a diagnostic cycle to see if the spin cycle works there. I have attached the tech sheet for you so you can do this.

The water drains out, it does nothing, no error codes or anything. Thank you for the tech sheet.

your welcome. That is strange. Does the time count down. Will the cycle finally end? Let it sit there long enough and it should give an error code hopefully.

No time. Display goes black and washer stops. Technician unplugs machine then will have to manually unlock door latch. Plug washer back in, then display will light up and washer will work again (including drain) until spin cycle. Then display black and washer is inoperable till manually unlocking door latch. Thanks

Strange. Sounds like a board issue. Hard to say if it is the CCU or MCU with out any other symptoms or error codes.
