I was just wondering if you could help me out. I’m trying to determine if the gas sprinkles are bad on my dryer. How do I test them?

Hi. I was not able to look up that model number. Are you referring to the primary and secondary gas coils on the dryer? Typically what will happen when the gas coils are bad is the unit will give you some heat at the beginning of a cycle and then stops. IF you turn the unit off and let it sit for a while, it will give some heat again. When the gas coils are not working the igniter will come on and then go off without a flame. I have attached videos on gas coils. They are not on your exact model.

I’m sorry about not giving you a model number. But I’m not looking for any specific model. I’m just asking you if there is a way to check the coils on any gas dryer to determine if they are bad or good. Thanks

Ok. Not a problem. The videos will be very helpful. You can test them for continuity, but they could be faulty and still test good.
