water will work for a few seconds than stop if you open and close the door it will work again for a few seconds

Are you asking about the water dispenser shutting down ? The water valve supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser. If it is the dispenser assembly go to section 3-7 in the service manual. It sounds like have a dispenser switch issue.
