Our washer has a very slow but steady drip of water inside the tub, even when not being used. I checked the connections, and everything is tightened. What should I do to stop it?

Mike, this has a couple options. It may be your hoses themselves, have you changed them recently? We suggest every 8 years. Sometimes sooner depending on the makeup of your water. If you don’t know the last time it was done, it’s probably time! Also, this has the signs of an inlet valve failure. I’ll add the part below if you do need to replace it, but take a look in there and see which is the issue. Hoses would definitely be cheaper! Let us know if we can do anything further for you.
