Washer won’t spin. How do you know computer is bad? Or the interface board? or the other interface board? There are two boards that communicate with the main computer board.
Inputs to the board was tested. I ran it into diagnotic mode it error a door lock code. I replace the door lock and it wasn’t the problem. The motor control board was working. Like I said it’s not flagging the right part. I don’t want to take a guess on what it could be. The interface seem to be working. input power was there and digital display working. I replace the computer board first. That wasn’t it. Then I replace the interface. That didn’t work. Why can’t anybody tell me how to test the two boards that talk to the computer board? This is a real problem because there are no other codes that say the machine is having any problems. Remember two other boards communicate with the main computer board. Can someone please give me a answer.

I agree, could be a stuck button or something was spilled on it and the customer does not want to tell you. i believe they want you to run a diagnostic test mode to pair them up. but i always do that when putting in a new board anyway to make sure it is working properly, check all wire connections as well. those parts are way to expensive if you ask me!

Unfortunately there are no service bulletins from the manufacture on this issue. I am sure you do not have multiple parts that failed at the same time unless there was a power surge. The manufacture has does not have a way at this time that we can see to test this.

Hello, unfortunately there is no a way to test the control boards. You do need to go off the error codes, i know they sometimes are not the exact part if you go off the codes. you need to go into the diagnostics and see what all is happening, does it agitate? spin? fill? I have attached a tech sheet for you so you can go through the steps.

The code F99 comes up. The CCU was replaced already. Says to replace the UI. How do marriage both together on power up. Do you have to go back into diagnostics where it will read the information from the user interface. It really doesn’t tell you how they marriage each other so they will communicate together. The F99 Code that the CCU and UI aren’t communicating with each other. Both are very expensive parts. I already replaced the computer board. Now I have to replace user interface. What would cause the interface board to go bad. All rotary encoder is working and led for wash time all work. What is the problem that I have to replace this UI now. If this doesn’t work I don’t know what to tell about control boards that you say you can’t test. That you have to go by diagnostics and what isn’t working. Engineers need to do better on diagnosing system problems so we can replace the right part or give us more knowledge about there Black Boxes that no one know what inside of them. Sorry I just don’t buy having two main parts that go bad.
