Homeowner stated washer give code last night and the opened and shut door and the washer worked just fine. Today trying to run a cycle the washer is dead, nothing will happen at all, no lights, no nothing. Of course they don’t remember what the code given was. Anything other than a control board issue here?

I have attached the manual for this washer. on page 4-1 you will find the error codes and how to enter into diagnostic mode to find error codes. Then starting on 6-1 you will find services tests.

Went into diagnostic code and got 36 this says PCB. Should I be concerned at all about the heater or harness. I didn’t see any lose or bad wires, but I know sometimes Samsung has issues with there harnesses.

The tech sheet says only to replace the PCB, but it would be a good idea to check your heater and harness. page 10-2 shows the heater relay. You can check for continuity through these wires through the heater and harness.

Very possible that the contol is the issue. Need to make sure we have proper power to the board first. If we can get the unit to power back on we can run the diagnostics and find out what error code was present.
