Hi. Your unit will disable the heat circuit if it has recognized that it was unable to heat. You need to enter the diagnostic cycle to clear this. Check out error code 7-1 on the tech sheet I have attached.
1 To invoke the Diagnostics Cycle, perform the following while in standby:
■ Press any 3 keys in the sequence 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3 with no more
than 1 second between key presses.
■ The Service Diagnostics Cycle will start when the door is closed.
■ To rapid advance 1 interval at a time, press the Start/Resume key.
Rapid advance may skip sensor checks as some checks require 2
complete intervals.

outstanding information on this, thank you!

So got back to this machine today, ran the diagnostics and saw the code for the heating circuit, ran the the diagnostic cycle twice and then started the unit up, I don’t think I am getting the element still – I read one amp on either one of the conductors that go to element and only see this when pump is running – does this sound right? I am wondering would the OWI have any impact on the heating circuit? Thank you!

There is a thermal fuse for the heat ciruit that may be bad. The OWI can also cause heating problems. Or the control board can be faulty. What other errors did you have stored? When you run the diagnostics, at the end after it drains the heater turns on.

So, was mistaken, must not have been reading the elemnt at the correct time, after going through the diagnostics the element is functioning. Thank you for your help!
