THE UNIT RAN OVERNIGHT AND IS COLD ON BOTH SIDES. I WENT THROUGH DIAGNOSTICS AND ALL THREE FANS CAME ON. THE TEMP SENSORS ALSO WERE WORKING CORRECTLY. THE FANS DON’T COME ON DURING NORMAL OPERATION. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THIS ISSUE? THIS DOESN’T SEEM RIGHT TO ME. ANY THOUGHTS?

Hello
If you ran it through diagnostics and it is not cooling you should have error codes. These error codes will give you the specific direction to go it for the repair. Without error codes we are just guessing.
E01 RC sensor value is outside the defined range
E02 FC sensor value is outside the defined range
E03 TCD senor value is outside the defined range
E15 Ambient sensor value is outside the defined range
E10 CM Eeprom
E11 DOM Eeprom
E20 Communication error between CM and DOM
E21 Communication error between DOM and IWD

NO ERROR CODES. FANS COME ON WHEN IN DIAGNOSTIC MODE.

I would first check the plug at the wall outlet and at the refrigerator to make sure the plug or cord is not the issue and you have proper polarity at the plug outlet. Next, make sure there is adequate clearance between the refrigerator and the wall for air flow. Verify the condenser coils are clean. Third, unplug the refrigerator for two hours, plug back in and listen for compressor to kick in. If it did start running, then there is something that was causing the compressor to over heat. If overheating is not the issue, I would suspect the PCB control due to no error codes coming up when in diagnostics. It should store any error codes.

THE COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING AND BOTH SIDES ARE AT SET POINT, TEMP WISE. IF I LEAVE DOORS OPEN RAISING TEMPS FANS AREN’T KICKING ON. THE UNIT WILL STILL RECOVER BUT I THINK THAT IF IT WAS FULL IT WOULD TAKE LONGER THAN NORMAL.
