When observing this unit during the wash cycle it starts spinning while thier is water in it. When it gets to high speed
the basket just bounces around from corner to corner and accually moving the body around.
My shop was going to have me replace the main board(control), the shocks and this balancing ring on top of the inner basket. I couldn’t get the wash plate off so being discuraged I just replaced the main control board but that didn’t correct the problem. The existing ring still has a fluid in it, you can hear it swishing around and I believe it’s to violent of a movment for the shocks to help. I feel like I’m just missing something-HELP
Put ties from basket to shocks and changed the main control board

Is the washer out of balance when there are no clothes in it? Sounds like the balance ring is okay since it has water in it still unless it has a hole and some of the water has leaked out. Could be the shocks if they are disconnected or worn out but like you said it shouldn’t be that violent with worn-out shocks. Is it loud in Spin? It could be a bad or loose bearing or clutch assembly. Do you have access to the the tech sheet? Run it through a diagnostic mode and check for stored errors as well.
