We had a defrost problem on a refrigerator 90 days ago. WE DEFROSTED EVAPORATOR – REPLACED EVAPORATOR THERMISTER AND MOTHER BOARD . Now we went back out for a no cool, compressor was not running cycling on and off on overload. We replaced the mother board and the compressor started running perfect amperage. The only issue now is the lights in the fresh food and freezer flicker on and off every 5- seconds. We tried a second board with same symptoms. We checked all connections and harnesses including the new thermistor we replaced. We unplugged the display thinking there may be a short with no success. Has any member seen this issues or have any suggestion on a direction to move forward ? Thanks in advance. Matt

You have a shorted low voltage component. Start unplugging the the components individually Evaporator motor, auger motor and see if the lights stop flickering. We had one with a shorted auger motor that gave us the exact symptom. See diagnostic chart.
