My customer called me about his Samsung ice maker. He said that it worked well ever since he owned it. Then suddenly it just stopped making ice. I tried to reset it, but no luck. The water works fine, just not producing ice.
I tried to
1. Reset it, no luck.
2. Checked the continuity on the solenoid, it was good.
Not sure what to look for next? Please advise.

HI. There should be a test button you can hold in on the ice maker. This will run the ice maker through a cycle. Is the ice maker getting water ? I have attached a manual on this issue. Look at page 213. It has trouble shooting for this ice maker.

Hello Brian. I checked the test button, the solenoid, I pulled out the ice maker. The tray was filled with ice cubes, but didn’t drop them into the tray. The small board in the upper right side of the panel, (located in the back of the fridge) had a glowing red light. Not sure what that means. According to the trouble shooting guide, it says a bad board, or ice cube maker. Is there a way that I can be sure which one of the two it is? I am over my head with this one.
