I have a Samsung Refrigerator w/Ice Maker; the ice maker continuously freezes up; I have searched online and it seems to be an endemic problem; any fixes out there or do I need a hair dryer in the kitchen?

So first, you are correct, it’s a very common problem. Samsung re-designed their icemaker fan and auger assembly because it wasn’t circulating the air properly which is why the ice maker over freezes. You’ll need to replace that assembly to fix the issue
