This dryer is in an apartment laundry. The complaint from residents is the dryer turns itself off and shows there is still time remaining but the dryer is not running. I suspect this would be a timer issue. When the dryer is running the temperature at the vent is approximately 155 degrees. A couple of other questions I have about the coin operated aspect is, Can you set the time for how long the dryer will run on a set of quarters or is the only setting you can adjust is how many quarters it takes to run a load. There is a similar complaint on a second whirlpool dryer at this same location. It does not stop mid cycle but it does not dry the clothes with one set of quarters.
It sounds like it may have venting issues. If these are vented like most apartments around here, they need cleaning desperately and probably different exhaust duct that the foil which is likely on there. The RLE202 Lint eater is what I carry in my truck and is an affordable way to provide this additional service. The Whirlpool you can change the time per vend. The plastic gear on your timer will tell you what the time is now. I believe yellow is 30 min., green is 45 min. We have ours at 45 and it seems to work fine. I don’t know with the Huebsch Dryer.
