GE ADORA FRENCH DOOR UNIT THAT THE TEMPS WILL NOT STAY CONSISTENT. THE TEMPS WILL GO UP TO 5 DEGREES IN FREEZER AND 43 IN FRESH FOOD SECTION. HOMEOWNER CAN CUT ON TURBO COOL AND IT WILL BRING TEMPS DOWN. THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN EVERYDAY, SO IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND. ANY IDEAS?

Unfortunately i cannot find anything specific to this model to supply you with any additional information. The fresh food temperature is usually set to 37 or 38 degrees Fahrenheit so 43 degrees for a short period of time after a defrost cycle may not bee too far out of range. Unless you can find unit in a failed condition it would be very difficult to properly determine. You may want to see what the freezer temperature is at the time the fresh food is at 43 degrees to begin a log to record helpful information as the issue may progressively worsen.

The freezer temp is at 5 degrees when the fresh food is at 43 degrees

5 degrees is normal temp for a freezer. I suspect they have it set around 0 degrees. So just like Sam had said, when the unit goes through a defrost cycle the temps will increase a few degrees. This is normal. Also, when the doors are opened during normal operation, the temps will increase as well for a period of time before they come back down to the set temps. 32-40 degrees is normal in the refrigerator section. Sounds like it is working properly. I would not be concerned at this point. If temps get over 45 in refrigerator and 15 in freezer and do not come back down, then I might be a little more concerned. Temps are always going to fluctuate for multiple reasons.
