Hello
See the diagnostic and troubleshooting guide link below. I would start by checking your heating element circuit for a dead short. I would also make sure your terminal block has a good connection from the power cord. Matt Ace technician

cannot get into diagnostics because washer controls are dead, no lights or power going to board on washer control, due to blown fuse on main board, I have tech sheet, does not explain why fuse on main board blows. dryer is okay no shorts

It is possible that motor or motor switch may cause this. Check motor winding to ground and also check all motor terminals to to ground as well.Your motor or bad wiring is where you want to closely inspect for cause of blown fuse before going any further. You want to check all wiring for compromised insulation and if replacing main control again you will want to unplug motor before applying power and turning on to isolate and eliminate motor circuit from the equation. Check all wiring at inlet valve and at motor capacitor as well. I would also check every terminal to ground for all washer components including drain pump and any switches.

Thank you I have tested the washer motor to ground, all terminals are shorted. need new motor.
