After beginning a cycle, the initial fill seems to take longer than normal. After a few moments, the unit begins to drain (without beginning to wash) and the “Smart Auto” light blinks.
I have cycled power to reset.
I have also already replaced the thermistor.
There is no water in the drip tray beneath the unit.

It will not go into Inspection Mode.
  • Hello If you are going through the proper steps to enter the inspection mode. The only option is to replace the main PBA board if it will not let you enter the inspection mode.

    Is that part #DD82-01139B?

How likely is the PBA board to fix the (initial) problem?
  • Its best that you call you local parts distributer to look up the part by the model & serial number. Some boards are serial number specific. You need to get the unit into the diagnostic mode to proceed forward. If you are entering the unit into the diagnostics mode correctly per the technician sheet, and it will not go into diagnostics mode you will need to start with the board.
