Hi. Attached is the Service Manual for your unit. It is hard to say what the issue is at this point. Sounds like it is getting an error code when it stops and beeps. Run the diagnostic mode to see what error codes you are getting. You can also run the test mode to test different components that may be affected by that particular error code. Let me know if you need further assistance along with any error codes at that time. Also, attached are some videos on Fisher Paykel dishwashers.

This unit doesn’t have digital display how do you read the fault code on this DS603? Also when you start the unit inside it is on the rinse after a few secounds and then just beeps all the time. It says on the service manual the flood sensor that also controls the lower lid actuator motors? So how do you get at the lower lid actuator to see if they are o.k. nothing is jamming. Need to know how to look up the fault code on a non digital display?
  • If not digital display the service manual explains that the LED lights for the buttons will give you the fault codes.I assume your models has LED lights? It also explains there being a diagnostic “pen” tool to use, that I am not familiar with. Look at page 20 on the service manual. This is what is says: 5.1.2 Optical LED Download / Fault Display An optical data download is available here to download all EE data to a PC or Palm PC via the lower tub-home sensor light pipe. Hold the reader pen over the lower tub-home sensor light pipe and press Start/Pause to initiate the download. A short beep indicates the start and finish of download. In products manufactured before MEM741743, 21/5/03, the last two faults are displayed on the LCD (secondary control panel LEDs for integrated models) during the optical download, the Current Fault code is displayed first followed by the Previous Fault Code. To read the Fault Code on the secondary display for integrated and prefinished products after MEM741743, refer to Section 7.1 on Fault Codes.
