Washer was taking long periods of time to sense the clothes in the tub, could restart and sometimes would work right sometimes wouldn’t. It will work correctly with no clothes in washer, but not with clothes in tub. Now it won’t operate at all. Any suggestions?

Hello
Do you have any Error codes ? Have you run the unit through diagnostics ? See technician sheet and service bulletin links below.

No , the motor should be fine if it spins. I would still check the motor windings. Strange it works with no clothes. Can you hear the motor trying to agitate? Check for power to the motor in agitation. If you do not get power, you have a wiring or control board issue.

I have replaced the control board 2 days ago. The motor will turn maybe 1/2 cycle like it is trying to sense the clothing and then stop. I also tried to recalibrate since the board was changed, and it will start to calibrate for a few seconds, then after the lid locks then unlocks the machine shuts down. (Roughly 5-10 seconds)

Any suggestions on the above?

Hello, reviewing all information it appears that you may have a bad actuator sensor. You can get a motor drive error if the actuator isn’t in the right position.Even if you hear it “click” it may not be properly positioned . The part # is W10913953 . This is such a common issue with his unit that all of our technicians carry this part as truck stock .
