Do you have the service manual for rvm5160dh1ww- is a hotpoint and for jvm7195df1bb- is a GE? The ge comes one but does not heat. How do I eliminate the control board from the magnetron and magnetron thermostat?
Nothing yet on GE

Hi. I have attached the tech sheets/ service manuals for both units. To determine your no heat situation you will need to take an Amp draw when the unit is running. If above 3 amps your issue is on the high voltage side, which would be your transformer, capacitor, magnetron, and diode. Most likely a bad magnetron and diode. If below 3 amps( you will usually get about 1 amp) you issue is on the low voltage side which would include your door switches and control board. IF you have 120V at the main relay on the board with the door closed it is not your door switches. If not check your door switches. Press start to turn on a cook cycle. If the 120V stays and does not drop to 0 then you have a faulty main control board. The tech sheets have flow charts you can follow to get to your faulty component as well.
