Hi Support
Model: KitchenAid Washing Machine Model KAWS750LT0
Replacing Part: KitchenAid Washing Machine Timer WP3954915
I can’t figure out how to get console panel opened. Does the spacer console part #8536941 have to be popped off 1st? to get to the end cap screws on the front side?
Or there is only screw in on the back of the washer to be removed.
Please advise me step by step how to get the console panel opened/ tilted back to get to the timer .
It seems rather easy to replace once I get the console panel opened.
Thank you craig

Hello
Great picture now I can see what you have . In diagram #1 go to the back of the console and you will see a Phillips head screw on the right and left side angled on each side. You should see them if you lean over the top of the console. Remove both of the screws from the console left and right side and it will lift forward. Then to remove the timer knob you MUST engage the timer and turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE to remove. Then remove the two screws holding in the timer. This is a older model but a great unit. Matt Ace technician

Hi Matt- Right I follow that but do I need to remove (pop Off) #14 spacer console part number: 8536941 b/c on my unit that piece looks like its covering the screw #8 and cap #4. I wish I can upload a picture of the unit to show you. How do i remove #14 spacer console part? to get to the 2 screws. Thanks Craig
