ohh man i feel dumb, lol. anyway dish washer was leaking from diverter valve fixed that. worked for a cycle now it will fill for a a while diverter is constantly moving like it is not sensing the proper position. but the wash motor never comes on. question is, if the diverter valve does not go into the rite potion and stop will that make the washer not start the cycle? it did have a diverter error code saved in it.
nothing on this issue yet.

Hi. I do believe that if the dishwasher control recognizes and issue with diverter it will cancel or time out and store the error code. Get into the diagnostics and clear the error codes. Run the test cycle. This will tell if everything comes on and is working properly. I have not seen a faulty diverter before. It sounds like the shaft of the diverter that goes up into the sump may not be aligned correctly. I have seen this before. Did you pull the sump out and have to disconnect any connections? If so make sure all your connectors are good. Especially the motor connector.

i did check all connections, i do know it was working. I wish the tech sheet would tell me if there was a problem with the diverter that it would do this tho :( tech sheet is kind vague with diverter issues. i did order a new diverter. Hoping that does the trick
