Auto matic defrost control replaced, which looks like to me controls the defrost and damper control. Damper is wide open and isn’t working right. they don’t tell you how the control works with the new control board. There is no schematic. Also it doen’t tell you the resistance the damper control motor should be. No way to tell if the motor is good or the damper contol know is bad.
The automatic defrost control. board was replaced with the harness wiring. Damper still doesn’t work it just stays wide open no matter where you have the dial set. Its said that you can take reading on the damper motor to see if it is good. The refrigerator section is to cold and the damper control isn’t working. The control board been replaced. Any good idea’s please let me know? The damper control is very expensive.Wiring diagram of the damper control circuit that shows how it works.

Hi. Was the ADC replaced for the issue of being too cold in the refrigerator section or a different issue? I show p# 5303918476 as the correct part for your unit. Did you get instructions in the ADC kit? The instructions explain how only one of the wires get installed back on to the damper assembly and which side of the damper to install the wire. This could be your issue. If the damper was previously working and your temps were too cold you could have a sealed system issue, which would be causing temps to be too warm in the freezer section as well as too cold in the refrigerator. Attached is the schematic for you unit to assist you.
