This is an LG built refrig with Kenmore badging. I cannot locate the water tank heating wire to replace so the water leading to the in-door icemaker can flow again. Do you have this part number or a suitable solution to fix this icemaker water supply in the door from freezing?
I have researched the Kenmore parts and LG parts but am unable to find this heating wire.

If you have no water to the ice maker or dispenser assembly I would look at the water saddle valve or water inlet valve. If the get plugged with lime and calcium deposits it will restrict water flow to both areas. See links below

The freezing problem started almost immediately after I replaced the icemaker assembly and inadvertantly severed the small gauge wire that wraps around the water spout that delivers water to the icemaker mold. The parts diagram shows the water tank (located in the left door) but not the water tube heating element or wiring. The wire is a very small single wire covered with insulation so I cannot splice it to repair, it must be replaced.

I would call Sears direct at 1-888 -359-9059 to see if thy can locate that heater. I could not see it on the parts breakdown.
