I have a washer that was getting a e70 error I changed the motor board and now when I power it on as soon as the door locks the breaker pops. I put the old motor board back in just to see what happens and it does the same thing.

Hello
You definitely have a dead short causing the breaker to trip. Most common causes for a dead short is the heater grounding to the case of the unit. Inspect your heater, this is very common. The F70 Error code solutions Possible Causes/Procedure
1) Check for continuity of the User Interface harness.
2) Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the CCU.
3) Replace User Interface if drum is rotating.
4) Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving.
