5 DOOR REFRIGERATOR HERE AND IS GIVING PO CODE. THE MAIN BOARD AND THE POWER CONTROL BOARD BOTH HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THE COMPRESSOR CYCLES OF AND ON ABOUT EVERY 30 SECONDS TO A MINUTE. THERE IS FROST BUILD UP IN THE MIDDLE SECTION AND SOME IN THE FREEZER SECTION. ALL WIRES IN THE LEFT DOOR HAVE BEEN SPLICED. SOMEONE TOOK THE TECH SHEET, SO I CANNOT GET INTO DIAGNOSTIC MODE. ANY HELP ON THIS ONE WOULD BE WONDERFUL.

Hello
The ( PO ) code is a power outage error. See the technician diagnostic sheet and a service bulletin for frost build up. I also added the complete service manual.

Thank you for all the info, however I am just curious why it keeps going back to PO after the 2 boards are changed?

If the evap fan motor is faulty or is not able to run it will cause the PO to happen. I see it when frost builds up on the evaporator and the fan blades start hitting against the frost.

Brian is right. I just ran into a PO problem and that was because the freezer was all iced up and the fan was not running. The other PO I ran into in the past was also an iced up evaporator in the freezer and fan was not running. Defrosting it didn’t make the PO go away. A previous tech was there before me and changed the control board and the user interface. He gave up and that’s when I got called. I went a bit further and changed the power supply as well but the PO didn’t go away even after fixing the freezer defrost issue. It turns out the Drawer User Interface Assembly WPW10769076 was all wet and rusted. That took care of the PO problem.
