Oven does 2things,
1. It takes a long time (30 minutes) to raise temperature. Set oven at 375*. 30 minutes later it reads 310* then starts to drop to 295*. I put an oven thermostat inside and it read 170*.
2. Once it reaches a high temperature ( below set temperature ) it begins to drop.

What have you tried so far?

I replaced a bad heat / broil element. Put a couple of heat thermostats inside the oven. To get another reading.
What is the problem?
How or what is the best way to test the thermostat?

Hi. I have attached the service manual for this unit. I assume this has a temperature probe. Temperature probes should read about 1100 ohms at room temp. If the temp probe tests good, then your control board is most likely the issue. Run the diagnostics and check for error codes to further assist you.

Hello Brian, I checked the olms on the temp probe. It read 1080. 1. Does that mean that the probe is no good? 2. How or what does the probe have to do with the oven not reaching its set temperature? And taking so long to reach 310*? I need to make sure that replacing the probe is the only problem left. I found out that Bosch no longer makes the board for that stove. And my customer has already spent $170.00 for the heat element and labor. Thank you
