Hello
I have a dryer that runs for 5 seconds and stops running sits for 60 seconds or so and then starts on its own for 5 seconds and shuts off and then repeats over and over with no error code any thoughts?

Are you getting any error codes ? Have you run the unit through diagnostics ?
1) It could be the motor overload cycling off due to lint build up around the motor.
2) Low voltage to the motor.
3) Blower impeller blocked or plugged in blower housing.
4) Actuator on motor.
5) Bad motor drawing high amps.

there are no error codes. I put it in the service mode it just sits there im I missing something?

after running for 5 seconds stopping for 60 seconds 3 times it jumps to 1 min then says its done

It is possible you have a bad thermistor sensor. The part is only around $10 and the part number is DC32-00007A. It is difficult to get correct thermistor readings on these and we typically would replace the thermistor first in this situation before going any further.
