Why won’t it make ice?
Don
Samsung RS265TDWP. I have checked all water lines from the solenoid to the ice maker and they are clear. When I trip the reset button on the ice maker for 3 seconds I can hear it chime. After a minute or two the solenoid will open and expel a little water but only for a second or two. If I pour water in where the water should come out of the door into the ice maker the ice maker will make normal cubes but only one cycle.
There is no problem with the water dispenser.
I do not know what controls the amount of time the solenoid stays open.
What is the problems?

Hello
See complete service and diagnostic links below for your model. If you can pour water in the ice maker and get it to cycle and harvest / drop cubes you have have a water intet restriction. You most likely have a restricted water saddle valve or a water solenoid valve. See video link below on how to diagnose and replace the saddle valve. Matt Ace technician
