The ice maker on the upper left side top of the maytag refrigerator it just won’t drop ice? Is there a problem with maybe not getting the right amount of cold air to the ice maker? Is there a channel that not letting cold air up into it. I’ve been to this house twice for this problem. Any suggestions would be great. This is a real hard one.
I diagnostics on the unit with the ice maker. Power is on the ice maker and to the thermostat. I get 115vac to netural. The fan works inside. I even lower the freezer temperature to -6 degrees. He left his refrigerator like this for 3 days. Still no drop of the ice cubes. I thought the thermostat wasn’t getting to zero degrees and that’s way it wasn’t working, but that not the problem. The ice maker fills and it freezes the ice and all power is there? Please help with the solution to this problem. I ran out of ideas. All computer functions are working fine.

Hi. IF your temperatures in the ice box are cold enough to produce ice and you are getting water to the ice maker, you most likely have a faulty ice maker. Have you already installed an ice make in this unit? There is an updated ice maker and service pointer for the ice maker that I have attached for you. Please take a look at them.
