Hello
I have a unit that is not cooling enough in both Fresh food and freezer sections.
the fresh food temperatur on the display shows 33f however, the termometer reads 48f. similar difference in the freezer. 0 f but reads 11 on the termometer.
when the tech disassembled the rear panel. a frost is seeing on the low side copper between the compressor and filter dryer.
although the unit was not overcharged, we replaced the filter dryer, vaccum the unit, flush with nitorgeen at 150PSI .
but no change to the cooling to the system after 24 hours. unit still have frost on the low side line and not cooling enough in either compartment.
please advise what is the likely problem.
thank you so very much.

Hi. Are you getting frost on the low side line between the evaporator and compressor? Do you have frost on this line near the compressor? That would be a sign that it is overcharged or a sealed system issue. You said that it is not overcharged. You could have a faulty compressor or a restriction. You would need to check your pressures both high side and low side to find out what is going on.I believe your pressures should be about 3 or 4 psi on the low side and about 135 on the high side. Your temperatures are not that far off from normal, depending on when you check the temperatures. If the unit had the doors open recently or is running to cool back down I would expect the temps you are reading. Does the unit run constantly? I would go into the diagnostic mode and go through all the tests to check your sensors, fans, etc. I have attached the tech sheet for you and the job aid.
