Custome just bought the box from lowes 1 month ago as is. The water in the door freezes up they unplug the box for 2 days and the water works for 4 or 5 days and freezes again is there a recall or is this just bad insulation from the factory.
The lady called and told me her issue. I have not been out yet. I was just asking to see if frigidaire has had this issue.

Hello, I have not seen any bulletins on this issue. This unit does not have a heater for the water line to keep it from freezing. I am sure you will see what is going on when you go to there house. The water maybe freezing in holding tubes in the fridge section. I would check the temps and check to see if you are getting water to the door. There is a coupler at the bottom hinge, disconnect that then see if you get water there.

Kris the lady called and told me that the filter was frozen solid thawed out worked just fine. She said they were going to buy a new box not from lowes. Thank you for all your help.
