Is the brown selonoid supposed to energize every time the water dispenser is used or the icemaker calls for water. I’m not getting 120v when dispenser is pressed
Tested coils, checked voltage to yellow and brown valves I get 120 to yellow valve but not brown valve, I have also verified that I have continuity from board by removing harness and checking back to selonoid.

Hello
See wiring diagram and schematic. I see that you have diode in series with the valves. We have seen the diode defective preventing voltage from going to the valve. Diode Polarity, diodes only allow current to flow in one direction, and they’re always polarized. A diode has two terminals. The positive side is called the anode, and the negative one is called the cathode. The positive end of a diode is called the anode, and the negative end is called the cathode. Current can flow from the anode end to the cathode, but not the other direction. If you forget which way current flows through a diode, try to remember the mnemonic ACID: “anode current in diode” (also anode cathode is diode). Matt Ace technician
