This stove had the bake element go out. The element was replaced. It still didn’t work. It was dropped off. After checking the OHM’s and then voltage. It OHMed out okay. The 120 VAC was right on. It does feed direct. When the oven is turned on it does nothing, bake or broil. Voltage from the board is none… I removed the board and the roach “stuff” was bad. I don’t see any shortages or burnt spots on the board but it is apparent there is no output from the board. So, I’m leaning to the board.. Are roaches a major cause of failures to these type of appliances?

Thank you for your question.Insects can cause control boards to short, but it is not uncommon to have a bake element burn up and damage the control.If the bake element was burned and badly damaged that would most likely be the cause of your control failure
