I open the rear of control panel and find valve but cannot detach elec. and hose due to location. Do I have to remove top or what ever???

What have you tried so far?
I have located valve and by opneing upper rear of washer but cannot determine method to remove. Valve was damaged by bad iron content in water and will not shut off cold side after rinse. Smal filter on cold side cannot be removed. I have new part # W11210459 (updated from part #
