My washer will not spin out

Unfortunately a bed spread and small blanket are very difficult to balance because they’re so heavy and off balance. Remove them and see if the washer will spin out normally. If so, the washer is just trying to balance the load which is why it counts down to 5 and jumps back up to 12 to try to balance the load again. You may have to add some bath towels so hopefully the washer will balance a bit better. If it won’t balance, then either you need to hang dry or bring it to a laundry mat. These units spin much faster than older washers so they are very sensitive and will refuse to spin if they can’t balance the load.
