While still under warranty, we had this problem. The technician came out and spun the dial and pushed the start button in a specific sequence. This solved our problem. He explained that he had performed a diagnostic calibration routine and had reset the programming to the origional factory program. He speculated that the program had become corrupted and had to be reset.
I have tried unplugging the machine for five minutes. I have tried holding the start button in for five seconds. I have been switching the dial over after each load to the drain/spin setting.

Sounds like you have a bad actuator (p#W10006355) which is very common on this unit. I attached a repair video on this part. The first thing we want to do is to get into diagnostic mode and check the stored error codes. The 2nd video shows this better. Once you do the sequence with the knob, all the lights are flashing. Now turn the knob once so just the done light is lit up. Press start. All the lights flash again. turn the knob once and this is your first error codes. Lights will be flashing to specify the error code. I have attached the tech sheet as well that explains all this and lists the different error codes. Let me know what your error codes are.

theses videos look great. i am reviewing them. before I take any mechanical action, I would like to try to sync everything together again through the calibration cycle. Can you tell me what sequence of dial turns and button pushing with permit me to go through this calibration routine?

I can explain how to run a calibration mode. This most likely will not take care of your issue. Calibration mode is done after certain parts are replaced on the machine. It does explain how to run calibration in the tech sheet. The video shows how to get into diagnostic mode. First, to get into diagnostic mode we need the washer in “stand by” mode. Not in any cycle, with all the lights off. Now turn the knob L,L,R,R,R,L,R. Do this slowly. If you do it too fast it will not work. Now all the lights should be flashing. Now turn the knob clockwise 4 times, until just the rinse light is lit up. Now press start and the unit will go through a calibration mode. This takes about 5 mins.

How much would a replacement part cost? How long for it to arrive? Do you have a location where I can stop by and purchase this part over the counter?

Hi. The model number you gave me is not valid. Please re check that model number. It should be located under the lid when you open it. Near where the water enters the tub at. The number you gave me is a part number to a rear panel. I think I know what machine you have and the issue you are having. With the model number I can get you a tech sheet and we can see what error codes you have. Does the unit spin and drain once you select the spin and drain cycle?
