lid will not close

Hi. Are you not able to physically close the lid? If not you may have bad hinges or something preventing the lid from closing. Or, is the lid not locking? If so, then you could have a faulty lid lock or control. Check to see what error codes you have stored. I have attached the service manual for you as well as bulletins for the lid closing too quickly and the lid screws.

The front chrome portion of the lid assembly may
contact the top cover as shown when closed causing
a bang sound.
