I have a customer that wants me to convert his LG dryer to LP. It is an LG model # DLG3171. I typed this number into your model # guide, with no results. I checked PartsPro website and that number came up. So I know that it is a good number. Do you have a video for this model # or something close to it showing how to take it apart? And 2, how long should a job like this take?
Thank you
Bob

You welcome. I’m attaching a video that shows how to take apart a LG dryer. This may not be your exact model but will be taken apart about the same. Here is a link to the parts break down on your model as well. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/lg-parts-dryer-parts/model-DLG3171W/3204/0151200.html?searchType=modelSearch&prst=&q=DLG3171&searchTerm=DLG3171W&shdPart=

Hi. I was able to look your model number up. The L.P covers ion kit is part# 383eel3002a. This job should take about 1 hour to complete for a technician. Sorry we do not currently have a video on this model. I am working on finding a video or instructions on how to take this unit apart for you.

Hello Mr Dennis,
Let me know if this video helps:

I saw this hacker before I asked AV for help. No it didn’t help. I do not have long arms and do not want to cut my arm up like this hacker. That isn’t even the model number that I will be working on. I want to do the job in a professional and safe manner.
