I’VE had this machine for 4 years.
when I pick any of the various wash cycles its starts out fine but when the count down time gets around (9-1) the washing cycle know starts flashing and a 5 d codes appears.
It wont spin , drain or complete its cycle when I hit the start cycle sometimes it restarts or just keeps flashing.
I occasionally I get the UL code too I check the load and it restarts and sometimes it doesn’t just would like to know what it could it be or is it worth getting fixed.
Thank You
Mark
pulling the plug restarting the machine

Hi. I think you are getting a SUDS error code ( SD). If you are not using HE detergent it will cause this error code. Also, IF the unit is not draining properly this error can occur. IF the basket is not engaging properly for spin you will get this error as well. the hub could be faulty. I have attached a repair video on the hub. Also, I have attached the tech sheet for you. Run the diagnostic mode and see if there are any other stored error codes. If the unit is load in spin and/or has a black colored water leaking underneath you have bad tub bearings which can cause the errors as well.

Hello, I’ve replaced the hub assembly and have been using the correct detergent since my initial purchase and i am still experiencing the same problem . I just all most completed my first load and when the timer got to 6 the same code came back up SD. I noticed that also when the buttons on the panel read one cycle\mode it is doing the complete opposite ie: wash its spinning, spinning its rinsing and when it should be spinning it’s washing. When I shut the machine off pull the plug it stays on for a few minutes. I also noticed when I shut it down pull the plug ,replug it back up it starts draining more water into the basin.

I also ran diagnostic and no other codes came up it just began running through its normal cycle c01,c02,c03…

SUDS is usually related to a drain issue. Make sure the unit is draining properly and there is not a siphon issue. The basket could not be disengaging from the spin tube . Or possible bad bearings. Is the unit loud in spin? I would think with a drain issue you would get other errors.
