HI. This could be a T-stat issue. Also, if the freezer is warmer that it should be and the Fresh food section is freezing things you could have a sealed system failure. Check your temps and frost pattern. If only a few things like veggies are freezing, there might not be any issues at all. Check that food is not in the direct path of air flow or in front of the vents. Try moving food to different shelves, putting food that freezes into storage bags to better insulate or turning the temperature in the refrigerator up.

GOOD MORNING BRIAN. I CHECKED OUT THE FRIDGE A LITTLE. WHEN I OPENED THE FRIDGE DOOR THE EVAPOATOR FAN WAS STILL PUMPING COLD AIR INTO THE FRIDGE. IF I AM CORECT THE FAN SHOULD SHUT OFF WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED? I DID START TO LOWER THE FRIDGE TEMP KNOB AND THE COMPRESSOR SEEMED TO SHUT DOWN WHEN I REACHED SETTING ONE. I CAN NOT REMEMBER IF THE FAN STOPED BLOWING INTO THE FRIDGE. I CHECKED THE PARTS DIAGRAM AND COULD NOT FIND A DAMPER? ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS. TODD FROM NY.

The fan will continue to run on this unit when the door is opened. What were the temps in both sections when you were there? Does the unit seem to run non stop? Is everything freezing or just some of the food? Sounds like a sealed system issue or possible T-stat issue.
