Hello I have a customer call kitchen aid microwave issue only half of the LED display is lite, and the micowave wont start when push start button customer says he reset main breaker and the micowave will work properly for awhile. Have no imformation on unit, all help appricated.
Sounds like an interface board issue from a distance. I would be tempted to check the incoming voltage while the unit is under a load to make sure there are no fluctuations such as would occur if a Neutral circuit was not solid. The selector board next to it may have also been affected if this unit was subject to a recent power surge, storm, etc. Sometimes the damage doesn’t show up immediately, but the electronic components eventually fail.
