I have a 60s that I installed probably less than ten years ago, and it just doesn’t want to work.
If I leave the switch in the on position, the breaker on the bottom of the unit will pop.
One in twenty times the motor will fire up after several seconds of loud humming.
I can insert and fully turn the wrench.
Thoughts?
By the way, I was sent to your site from your YouTube channel. Thanks for those handy items!

Hi. Since you can turn the motor freely with the wrench, there is nothing jamming it up preventing it from starting up. So it has a bad motor because it still hums and trips its breaker. You will need to install a new disposal. You you need any further help please let me know.
