Hi,
Is there a name for this type of icemaker? Any information/video in servicing this icemaker?
Thank you,

This is a heat release ice maker. What are you looking to accomplish? If you remove the ice maker cover from the head of the ice maker you will see 5 holes which have letters next to them. These ports are where you can test the ice maker from. You can check the ice maker and the fill valve from here. Exp: M to N or T to N with an insulated jumper wire will force a harvest when the door switch is closed, you can check the valve being energized now by using your meter set to AC at ports V to N. This happens at the end of the harvest cycle. L to N shows you if there is power to the ice maker. Please let me know if you need more assistance.
