BEFORE I GOT THE CALL THE ICE MAKER WPW10251076 AND WATER VALVE WPW10341320 WERE REPLACED AND STILL NO ICE. REFRIG HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN AND DEFROSTED WITH DOORS OPEN FOR 24 HRS. i KNOW THE PARTS WERE CHANGED AND I CHECKED, AND IT WAS DONE CORRECTLY. THEN I REPLACED THE EMITTER BOARD WPW10518658 AND CONTROL ELEC W10870822 AND STILL NO ICE . ALSO FOUND NO WATER LEAKING. REFRIG IS 5 YEARS OLD AND LOOKS LIKE NEW IN A WELL MAINTAIN HOUSE. NICE AND CLEAN. WHAT COULD ELSE COULD IT BE? THANKS RODNEY

Hello
There is many steps to trouble shoot this ice maker with the user interface board. I would go to the technician diagnostic link below and start from the beginning of the ice maker diagnostics to pinpoint your issue.
Theory of operation, S x S product IDI
* After the freeze cycle time has elapsed (36 minutes for normal operation and 29 minutes for
Accelerate-Ice), the main control board will send 120 VAC to the ice maker.
* When the ice maker thermostat senses a temperature of 17° +/- 3°F, the thermostat closes.
• At this point the current now has a path through the thermostat to the motor. (The motor rotates
the drive gear. Inside the module there are copper contacts that ride on copper strips and are
driven by the drive gear. As the drive gear rotates, the contacts will make or break circuits to
control the ice maker operation).
* The motor will start rotation and the mold heater is turned on.
• The ejector fingers will stall on the ice cubes until the heater warms the mold to release the ice.
* The ejector fingers push the ice out of the mold.
• After the ice is ejected, the motor continues to rotate the drive gear.
• The water valve is then energized for 7.5 seconds
• As the water valve is energized, a signal is sent to the main board which turns on the water inlet
tube heater (This heater will stay on for 40 minutes).
• Every time a harvest occurs and the ice maker fills, the heater will come on again for 40 minutes.
When the ice bin is full, the heater will not be energized. This may cause the ice maker water fill
tube to freeze over a period of time.
• Once ice is used from the ice bucket and the level of the ice drops below the infrared beam, ice
harvesting will begin again.
• The ice will be removed from the mold and the ice maker fill tube heater will turn on when the
water fill valve is energized.

Check for broken wires at the bottom of the door. These models are common for broken ice maker wires. Check for continuity through each wire from under the toe kick where the harness plugs in and then at the ice maker to see if the wires are broken. You would need to replace the freezer door to replace the wires. The only other things would be a bad door switch or control board if you wanted to return with those parts. Control would not be common. Make sure the door switch is engaging all the way when the freezer door closes.

Hi brian, i went there and replaced the wire harness on the emitter board. and replaced the WPW10518658 board before. There was 14 volts at plug going to emitter board. And still no ice. Need your help. Don’t give up on me. What else could it be? Thanks
-
It sounds like the only part left would be the main control board. I would order and take one with you. Check your wiring especially at the bottom of the door. It is common to have broken wires in this area. When you go back the first thing I would do is check for those broken wires and if they’re good cycle the ice maker in Diagnostics to see if it will cycle and fill with water for you.

Thank you, I will check the wires again and bring a board. could it still be a board and still getting 14 volts at emitter plug.
-
Yes. The U.I sends the 14 volts to the emitter. Then the main board sends the 120v to the ice maker.
