This is a relatively easy part to replace. To remove the control panel for replacement, start by unplugging the microwave. Next, remove the screws coming in from above the vent panel that runs along the top of your microwave above the door and control panel. The vent panel will then pull off or slid to the left 1 inch and then pull off. Once the vent panel is removed, you’ll see a screw at the top of the control panel. Unscrew the top of the control panel and then the control panel will slide up and hinge forward and down. Now you can disconnect the ribbon cable between the control panel and display board and then unscrew the display board from the back of the control panel so you can replace the panel.
