How to service Embraco Wisemotion Linear Compressor

You service it the same way as you would on a standard compressor with an inverter board. Check for power into the inverter, if you have power replace the inverter board. If you replace the inverter and compressor does not start up and run without any noise or vibration replace both inverter & compressor. These compressors run very quiet, to the point you almost cannot hear them run in most cases . If you hear any grinding or internal compressor noise you must replace the compressor. If you do not have power to the inverter check supply power from main control board back to inverter. Service Requirements
The compressor design requires changes to the existing process for sealed system diagnosis and repair. Changes include:
• Use of dedicated, oil-free hoses and gauges,
• Use only a Non-UV Dye Dryer,
• Do not overheat the discharge tube,
• Do not handle the compressor by the discharge tube, and
• Always replace the inverter with the compressor
